Seeing as this has been brought up for the 3rd time now, I'm promoting my comment into a full answer, hopefully making it clear just how trivial a fix this is:
Here's the current code for the entire Screenshot widget (grabbed from the page):
<div class="s-sidebarwidget mb16 photo-of-the-week">
Update: Thanks for the feedback, everyone. We addressed this as part of bug duty this week. The change isn't retroactive, but the next time the screenshot of the week is updated, it'll link to its full version.
Based on our current roadmap, this isn't work that we will take on, as it doesn't coincide with functional areas that we plan to improve in the near ...
No, there is no exception for answers to your own question when it comes to up- and downvotes; the only exception is the ability to post comments on them, because that is sometimes necessary to get a satisfactory answer. The accept vote is sort of like an 1.5 upvote (looking at reputation gained) and it will pin the answer to the top, giving it more ...
I'm looking for new 'hot' Minecraft questions on the main page
Have you considered creating a filter?
To address your actual question though:
Coming from other sites, like Reddit or forums, there's a certain mindset that old posts and discussions should be left alone. And that makes sense on those sites, as they are sites that facilitate discussion - the ...
EDIT: Implementation feature-request
I've found an idea that is really easy to implement to make this work:
Add <details>, <summary> and the open attribute to the HTML whitelist.
The <details> tag is, by default, a collapsible section with a customizable title. Take a look at some HTML and its output.
<title>How the &...
Stack Exchange doesn't allow users to delete answers that have been accepted by the question asker (a.k.a. original poster/OP). This is because - in the normal case - this is usually a bad thing to do. If the OP thinks the answer is useful to them, chances are it will be useful to other people, so it shouldn't be deleted.
There are sometimes exceptions to ...
I seriously think that this is an unnecessary shortcut.
Now because you haven't reached the magical mark of 3000 rep for voting to close, I'll give you a sneak peek into how the system works, and show you why I have the opinion I do.
When selecting "Duplicate" in the VTCshort for Vote to Close dialog, you must select which question to mark as ...
The flag modal can now be moved by clicking around the header section and dragging it out of the way. You'll know your mouse is in the right place when you see the 4-direction 'move' cursor appear:
The mod team reached out to the Community Team for clarification around the decline. There are a few reasons at play:
Inconsistency - Unlike SE sites that use the custom domain as their primary address (such as Serverfault or Ask Ubuntu), arqade.com is just a redirect. So there are larger questions to be answered as to whether customizing ...
Markdown Tables are a relatively new addition to the Stack Exchange Engine, and a good solution for smaller datasets. Markdown like this:
| Table Headers | Are Supported |
| Some Formatting works | Like **Bold** |

status-completed - As of April 2012 - It is possible to undo comment upvotes (some limitations apply - the primary use case is to undo an accidental click). According to waffles, former employee at Stack Exchange:
You can un-upvote a comment within the first 60 seconds, provided you did not navigate away.
Once you un-upvote a comment you can not upvote it ...
Following a larger discussion around how we can better help users that visit our site, Arqade now has a community faq question for suggesting good places to go for recommendation questions (that are off-topic on Arqade):
My request for recommendations was closed as off-topic. Where can I ask for help instead?
Please feel free to add fresh answers to this FAQ ...
Better late than never
I've actually expanded the main tag to professor-layton-the-last-specter thanks to the increased tag size limit from a few years ago. The end result:
professor-layton-the-spectres-call → professor-layton-the-last-specter
The thing is, the photo widget is only designed so that the photo, its title, and user profile can be changed on the fly. The header and 2 links are not meant to be changed frequently.
Short term solution
If the image title does not specify the game name, specify it instead. For your example, the title that should have been there would be:
Rust: "In a ...
For a lot of new site users - they just aren't interested in why we vote, edit, close questions, and so on - they just want an answer to their question. And that's ok! Not everyone has to be an avid and active member of the community to ask their question. It would be nice, but it's not a realistic expectation.
The users that do stick around will generally ...
Any user with 300+ rep can create a tag. However, there needs to be a question for that tag to be used on. So, ask your question and apply a tag that semi-works (such as android). Then, a user with enough rep can go edit the question and add the battle-cats tag.
The following is a guide to NBT syntax, to help whoever implements this. If you don't want to listen to me rambling on about NBT, here is a simple image displaying everything about how NBT is highlighted:
The NBT file format consists of key-value pairs, similar to JSON. However, differences include he
With the Moderator Dashboard design changes, rolled out in 2019, you can expand the flagged post and see any images or YouTube videos linked in-line.
I posted an answer to the Formatting Sandbox, and flagged it myself to get you some screenshots. Here's the flag modal, not expanded:
Expanding the flag results in the following view:

Mandatory FAQ/Help Center viewing? No.
Having said that, a lot of the useful information that is imparted in the Help Center is now prominently shown right where new users will need it - included along the right-hand-side of the 'Ask Question' page:
As you continue to fill out a question, this help info will change. There is also now a 'review' step, that ...
The mod team recently reached out to the CM team to see if this was something that could be added as part of the Review Queue overhaul.
We were informed that the focus of that overhaul is to improve the review system in a way that makes the queues more flexible, but adding new queues is not something they can do as part of this. While we can ...
