You're a bit of a broken record, aren't you, @Community? Always asking the same questions... – Raven Dreamer Jan 30 '12 at 20:29
  • I think it was programmed to do that.. – user28379 Oct 30 '12 at 18:25

Winners are agent86 and Oak.

This feels like our first proper election, but I'm not sure how it interacts with the users we elected last year (in election #1 and election #2). Are we replacing a certain set of mods? Which ones? Are we just adding two more mods? All that page says is that there are "2 positions available".

Usually, mods get added on, as the existing ones are elected for life (or until resignation). – John the Green Jan 30 '12 at 21:36
  • 1
Yep, just pro tem mods are temporary. – Matthew Read Jan 30 '12 at 21:44
  • 2 additional mods to our current staff – juan Jan 31 '12 at 14:25

Is two mods enough? We're still roughly the size Super User, yet they have 7 mods, 47 non-mods over 10k, and 15 non-mods over 20k; while this will only give us 6 mods, 22 over 10k, and 5 over 20k. Plus, according to Quantcast, our average visitor is younger, so we're likely to have more immature, low-quality content, I'd think.

  • How many of their 10 and 20k ers are also mods? – Raven Dreamer Jan 31 '12 at 6:14
  • @RavenDreamer: They also have one mod over 20k and two over 10k, but that doesn't really matter, does it? – Ullallulloo Jan 31 '12 at 14:17
  • Nope. I was just curious. – Raven Dreamer Jan 31 '12 at 14:26

how do you figure we're the same as superuser? They have way more users/questions per day – l I Feb 15 '12 at 0:24
  • @yx.: ...I'm not sure, actually...I think we decreased in size in some form since then. – Ullallulloo Feb 15 '12 at 0:33
